Dr. Lisa Devlin has been practicing chiropractic in Mountain View since 1993. She received her Chiropractic degree in 1991 from Life Chiropractic College West. She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Georgia and received her Bachelor of Science degree with a double major in Zoology and Biochemistry in 1987. In 1994, she completed a 120 hour course in Chiropractic Sports and is a Certified Chiropractic Sports Practitioner. Then, in 1998, she used her zoology degree and her love of animals to complete a 150 hour course in Animal Chiropractic and is certified through the American Veterinarians and Chiropractors Association.
Dr. Devlin's mission is to assist her patients in their return to health as comfortably and quickly as possible. She encourages education and active participation of her patients in their achieving and maintaining optimum health. She explains to each patient what their condition is and the treatment procedure. If you have a question, she is always accessible via phone or email. She doesn’t want any patient to have to wait and rarely runs behind her appointment schedule. That her practice is primarily referral is a tribute to her success in these areas.
In her off time, Dr. Devlin prefers to stay active. She volunteers for the Mountain View Chamber of Commerce on the Ambassador and the Women in Business Committees. She is on the Board of Directors for the Racing Driver's Club and when driving duties at the race track allow, she volunteers in Timing & Scoring.
Her primary sport is Auto Racing as you can see from the other section of the web site. This year she is taking some time from racing to practice some other sports. She enjoys horseback riding, SCUBA diving and riding her motorcycle. This winter she will be trying to get better at snowboarding. You can see where the certification as a Chiropractic Sports Practitioner was a natural. Dr. Devlin truly does practice active health care!
